형용사의 사용법이 몇개 있어요! 한국어의 동사처럼 쓸 때, "주어 + to be + 형용사"의 패턴으로 해야 해요. 패턴은 다음과 같습니다…

When in a Good Mood (기분 좋을 때)

"기분이 좋다"는 말은 "My feeling is good." 아니라 "I feel good."이나 "I am feeling good."라고 해야 해요. "기분이 ~하다"는 "feel + 형용사"이라는 패턴으로 나타냅니다. 그래서 기분이 나쁘면 "I feel bad."라고 하면 되겠네요!

Joy (즐거움)

한국어에서는 기분 (감정) 관련된 어휘들이 동사로 사용되는데, 영어에서는 형용사로 사용됩니다. 그래서, 기분 관련된 형용사를 사용할 때는 "to be (이다)"라는 동사와 같이 사용해야 합니다. [주어 + to be + 형용사]

Anger (화)

미국식 영어에서madangry가 아주 비슷해요. 둘 다 "화나다"는 뜻이예요! 영국식 영어에서는 "mad"가 "미치다" 의미하는데요. 아직도 "angry"가 "화나다"를 의미해요.
